We Need Change...BUT

When in need, be careful !

When people find themselves in need, they must be careful.  Careful that they don't allow their desperation to force them into a bad decision.

The United States is desperate for change, but not for change at any price.  Throughout the bloody history of the 20th century, tyrants and dangerous men have exploited desperate people in order to assume power.

This is how Hitler assumed power.   This is how every communist tyrant assumed power in every country that they absorbed into their world of evil.  First came desperation, economic, political, military.  Then they came in to offer the people "Change."

Beware of political slogans, especially one word slogans or short ones.  They offer no explanations, no specific details.

Ein Land.

Ein Volk.

Ein Fuehrer.

One land, one people, one leader.  He was a Uniter.  He made many into one.  He brought the people together.  He was also Hitler.

"Each according to his ability, each according to his needs."  Sounds wonderful.  Sounds like the solution.  Sounds like change.  Sounds like Karl Marx, founder of communism, who is responsible for the above quote.

So when someone promises you "Change", ask questions.  Find out EXACTLY what change they intend to inflict upon you.  They might change you from a free person to a slave.  All they need is your desperation a few slogans.
